Additions & Remodels

Demos Builders / Asheville, NC

In addition to our custom homebuilding services, Demos Builders offers renovations and additions. Our company understands the importance a home’s renovation holds for its owners.

Unlike new construction, renovation often involves a house that has been a home for some time, and altering it in any way other than what stands as an improvement can quickly ruin its character. Residential remodeling requires an intimate understanding of the inner workings of a home.

More specifically, remodeling seeks to open up a home’s core so as to improve it, aesthetically, functionally and, in our company’s case, with special regard to the home’s performance as an energy-efficient, eco-friendly, and healthy home. We work diligently from the start, aiding in the design phase all the way through the final cleanup at project’s end, delivering only the highest quality.

In their words

“The word remodel usually conjures up images of total chaos and havoc, especially when the homeowners decide to live in the house during the process. I am pleased to say that in our case, the planning, communication and process we had with Jim Demos enabled us to enjoy the experience. During our extensive 6 month remodel, Jim’s attention to detail helped insure us all was going according to plan. We were pleased with the quality of subcontractors; our house was treated as our home, with respect for our daily routine. Workers were polite and thoughtful of both us and our neighbors. The outcome of our remodel has surpassed our expectations! Not only would we use Jim on a future project, I can highly recommend him to anyone contemplating either an involved remodel or a new home.”
